DC Studios has confirmed the production of animated movies based on the acclaimed Crisis on Infinite Earths and Watchmen. The announcement was made during Warner Bros. Entertainment’s San Diego Comic-Con panel.
The animated renditions of Crisis on Infinite Earths and Watchmen are anticipated to make their debuts in 2024. Though specific details regarding the projects are sparse at the time of this writing, the anticipation surrounding these adaptations has been amplified by the reveal of the logos for both animated features.
The famed Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline, although explored in parts in previous animated films, is set to get its first full-length rendition. Simultaneously, Watchmen is also getting primed for an exciting animated debut following the live-action HBO offshoot by Damon Lindelof.
