Charli Burnett threw some major shade at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies during a recent podcast interview.
While appearing on Nick Viall‘s podcast on Tuesday, the Vanderpump Rules alum slammed Scheana, 38, and predicted she will soon “fold” when it comes to being friends with Tom Sandoval. Charlie also dissed Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies, as “desperate” and “thirsty” while reacting to Rachel “Raquel” Leviss‘ new podcast and looking back on a recent run-in she had with Sandoval, 41.
“I know that Scheana’s already gonna fold ’cause that’s just her personality. Like, she’s probably gonna be friends with Tom,” Charli declared on the December 12 episode of The Viall Files.
Then, after Nick, 43, pointed out that Ariana Madix, 38, recently said Brock was the closest person to Sandoval on the Pump Rules cast (aside from Tom Schwartz, 40, of course), Charli admitted she wasn’t surprised.
“That’s who he’s always has been. He’s like a payroll husband,” Charli stated. “He, like, does whatever she wants him to do. They bother me, honestly. I just think it’s weird, cringy, desperate, thirsty vibes.”
“Even when Brock just saw me and my fiancé the other day, it’s like, the questions people ask you, you can tell they’re not genuine. It was like, ‘So what are you guys up to?’ It’s like, ‘Why are you asking me that?’ It’s like, ‘Are you trying to determine what I’m doing after Vanderpump — if it’s whether you like me enough or not or whether I’m worthy of your time?”
Although Charli was friendly with Raquel amid season 10, she said she hasn’t spoken to her recently — and isn’t impressed with her decision to return to the spotlight.
“I kinda like take people out and throw them out of my mind when I really don’t wanna talk or like them anymore. So I didn’t really read much into it. I think whatever she needs to do for her. Everyone else is doing what they need to do for them. [But] it’s confusing and it’s icky,” she noted.
According to Charli, she doesn’t understand why Raquel has been critical of Pump Rules.
“You don’t have to diss Vanderpump. You can still look at that part of your life and be like, ‘Okay, that happened,’ because it did all do things for us in different ways, even if it may not have been the way it wanted it to,” Charli reasoned. “That was still an experience that we were given and it was still a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I feel there should still be respect towards it.”
As for her recent run-in with Sandoval, Charli revealed it happened at Barney’s.
“He tried to be nice to me and it freaked me out,” she recalled. “He was like, ‘Hey,’ and I just was like, ‘Hi, I’m with my friends, with people I love, please don’t bother me.’ I just got back from my engagement too, so I was on a high so he was lucky I even gave a ‘hi’ back.”
