According to the police report obtained by TMZ, law enforcement officers were called to Tekashi 6ix9ine’s residence after an argument between the couple turned violent. Tekashi claimed that the argument had been ongoing throughout the day before it escalated to the point where Yailin physically assaulted him and damaged his luxury vehicle. Allegedly, Yailin used a 2×4 during the altercation, hitting Tekashi multiple times. The rapper also accused her of kicking the sideview mirror of his Bentley and using a ground stake to break the windshield.
Tekashi provided officers with cell phone footage of the altercation, which he later posted on social media. The video shows Yailin repeatedly striking Tekashi with a 2×4 before being taken into custody. The footage served as crucial evidence for the police, leading to Yailin’s arrest on charges of aggravated battery, witness tampering, and felony criminal mischief.

During the investigation, Yailin revealed to the police that she believed Tekashi was withholding her money and passport, which caused her distress. She claimed that she had attempted to leave Tekashi’s residence, but he prevented her from doing so. In an unfortunate turn of events, Yailin admitted to damaging Tekashi’s car as a means to cause him financial hardship.
Based on the video evidence and the statements provided by both parties, the police had sufficient probable cause to arrest Yailin on multiple felony charges. She was taken into custody and subsequently transported to central jail.
