In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation, Usher took to social media to thank Rihanna for her unwavering support ahead of his highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime show in 2024.
The renowned singer shared a video of her interview on X, formerly known as Twitter, where Rihanna expressed her admiration for Usher’s talent and wished him the best for his upcoming performance.
Usher’s gratitude overflowed as he reposted the clip of Rihanna, who headlined the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year, captivating audiences worldwide: “I can’t give Usher no advice,” “Rihanna said in the video after being asked if she had any tips to pass on. “Usher is a natural, he’s a legend and he’s been doing this since he’s a teenager.” She added, “He’s made for that show,” the “Lift Me Up” singer continued in the footage. “I get excited about entertainers who do this, who are built for it and he just proved that in Vegas that he’s not going anywhere.” Reacting to her sweet comments, Usher tweeted, “Real recognize real Thank U Queen @rihanna.”

Both Usher and Rihanna have achieved remarkable success in their careers, earning the title of music industry icons. Their ability to recognize and appreciate each other’s talents is a testament to their genuine connection and shared love for music.
As we previously reported, Usher announced in September that he would headline the big Super Bowl halftime show. At the time he shared a video of him receiving a phone call from Kim Kardashian telling him the news. In a official statement he said,
“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen,” the “Yeah!” singer continued. “I’ll see you real soon.”
During her Super Bowl 57 Halftime Show performance, Rihanna made history in not one but two different categories. The superstar became the first female billionaire and the first known pregnant person to star in a Super Bowl Halftime Show.
While Usher has had many history/making moments himself, we’re sure his halftime were performance would be just as epic as Bad Girl Riri’s. Who’s ready to see him take the stage? Sound off in the comment box below!
