Tori Kelly is on the mend following her hospitalization!
On Saturday, the 33-year-old singer’s husband, André Murillo, took to Instagram Stories to share a positive update on her condition to fans. He wrote at the time:
“I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has prayed for Tori and sent any ounce of love her way. I believe it moved mountains. Fear gripped me hard, but God is bigger than my fears. I can never thank you all enough. Tori is doing so much better, and I believe you all have something to do with that.”

Such great news to hear! As we’ve previously reported, Tori was hospitalized on July 23. She had been out to dinner with friends in Los Angeles when her heart began to beat really fast. The Grammy winner ended up fainting before her pals got her into a car and drove her to the hospital Cedars-Sinai. When Tori arrived, she was admitted to the ICU and doctors discovered she had blood clots in her legs and lungs. Sources for TMZ claimed they were determining if she had any clots around her heart as well.
The Sing actress broke her silence about the situation, saying she was “dealing with some unexpected health challenges.” However, she did not got into detail about her condition. She added:
“It’s been a scary few days but I can feel your prayers & can’t stop thinking about you. I’m feeling stronger now & hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover. I’m so grateful for the amazing doctors and nurses who have been looking after me.”
