On this year’s Christmas Eve (December 24), popular televangelist Bishop T.D. Jakes, 66, briefly took to his pulpit and addressed the recent “lies” connecting him to music mogul Diddy, 54. His comments arrive days after The Christian Post reported that Jakes’ team called the accusations about his sexuality and about him frequenting alleged freak offs “unequivocally false and baseless.”
According to The Christian Post a representative for Bishop T.D. Jakes, who leads The Potter’s House megachurch in Dallas, Texas, had spoken out on all of the viral accusations about the church leader.

But before that, on Wednesday (December 20), a TikToker who goes by @jusnene posted a video speaking on alleged updates stemming from the rape and abuse lawsuit filed by Cassie against Diddy, which he quickly settled. Within the clip, the woman claimed Cassie allegedly turned over evidence to the feds including videotapes, a USB drive, and a burner phone belonging to Diddy’s late ex and children’s mother Kim Porter.
The woman also claimed there was an alleged email circulating that tried to tie Bishop T.D. Jakes to Diddy, she then plays a recording of this alleged knowledge she obtained. A male voice then plays and is heard saying, “Cassie was finally convinced to give up the videotapes and audio recordings that contain footage of s parties and other private gatherings that feature some pretty powerful and prominent people.”

The male voice continued, “I’m told that there are a slew of artists, politicians, and entertainers that are about to be exposed and arrested for HTN. I’m also told that multiple male escorts corroborated the fact that T.D. Jakes has slept with multiple men at Diddy’s parties and abroad, and they refer to him as being a power bottom.”
The male voice added, “It’s also been said that a young male has acquired a lawyer to represent him as he is set to sue Jakes for an incident that took place when he was just [?]-years-old. It’s been said that the young man was forced to perform sloppy toppy. It’s been said that the man’s family were members of The Potter’s House, but left the church in 2015. According to multiple church insiders, the parents were paid off to keep quiet. The guy’s a grown man now and is seeking his own justice. It’s been said that the young man doesn’t even deal with his parents even til this day because they took hush money. According to Pastor Blank, Bishop Jakes is about to get railroaded and all of his dirt will be exposed. That’s why the Bishop has quietly lawyered up. He sees his fall from grace coming.”

After playing the audio, the TikToker then claimed, “We already know T.D. Jakes is caught up with the other sh*t, allegedly being the person that is messing with Christian Keyes. Everybody has been saying it’s either, allegedly, T.D. Jakes or, allegedly, Tyler Perry.”
Since this TikTok going viral and tons of speculation hitting the internet, The Christian Post reports that Bishop T.D. Jakes’ team has dismissed all of the claims as “unequivocally false and baseless.” The publication said that Jordan A. Hora, executive director of public relations and communications for the T.D. Jakes Group, T.D. Jakes Ministries and The Potter’s House, gave them an exclusive statement on Thursday (December 21).
It read, “Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless. What has always been true, in the words of the late Pastor Charles H. Spurgeon, ‘If you want the truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it, but if you want a lie to go round the world it will fly; it is as light as a feather, and a breath will carry it.’”

Hora continued to state, “[It is] disheartening to witness the proliferation of numerous deepfake photos and the distortion of words through false, sensationalized misrepresentations, encapsulating purported statements to falsely speculate and attack others, including Bishop Jakes. There is much more important work to be done to create a better world.”
The statement concluded, “The Bible teaches us the importance of compassion and care for others, especially those who may be marginalized or in need. Chairman Jakes undeterred by false, perverse, ignorant, and conspiratorial speculations will persevere in his continued dedication to create meaningful change for millions around the globe guided by the timeless principles of compassion, service, and ministry.”
Days after Hora’s statement, Bishop T.D. Jakes took to his pulpit on Christmas Eve and before beginning his sermon he said, “Some of you have logged in or come in out of concern, some of you have come in to hear what I’m going to say. All of you who expect me to address a lie, you can log off. I will not use this sacred day and this sacred pulpit to address a lie when I have a chance to preach the truth. I will stand straight up, head up, back straight, and preach the unadulterated and infallible word of God. Because that is what the pulpit is for. But, there will be a time… So, you can stop dragging people, and arguing with people, and fighting and just log off. Just hit the button and log off. There is no show here.”
