In the viral clip, which has been grabbed from a livestream, Gilbert Arenas begins by saying, “2003-2004, I went to the playoff series and Halle Berry is walking by. I’m like, ‘Oh sh*t, Halle Berry, bro. Fine!’ And there was like four or five white dudes sitting there. Now… Harvey Weinstein was one of them. I’m not in the front. There’s the front row, and then there was a little space and then the first row after that, so like the second row. And they were sitting there talking about, ‘Oh, now she’s acting like she doesn’t know us? *laughs* Sh*t, she wasn’t saying that when she needed that part.’”
Arenas continued to allege, “Every single one of them hit. I was like, ‘Noo, not her. Noo, not them. Yuck! Damn, they got The Berry. And I don’t really know when people seen the Harvey Weinstein and all that, and the Bill Cosby, and pills, and… How do you think them ugly motherf***ers was getting the h*es? You think they was getting the h*es off their looks? Nooo. They gotta promise sh*t. ‘Yeah, I’ll get you a part in this and this and this.’ That’s how all of them… There’s only a few stand-up n***as in there. Like 50 Cent, because he was famous first. Now, he’s in Hollywood. He already has his power. So, he don’t have to do nothing.”

As we’ve previously shared, disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein was found guilty and convicted of rape and criminal sexual acts in February 2020. At the time, the producer faced up to 29 years in prison. The criminal sexual act conviction carries a maximum sentence of 25 years and the rape conviction carries a maximum of four. He was eventually sentenced to 23 years in prison in March 2020.
During the trial, the court heard weeks of emotional testimony from three women: Miriam Haleyi, who alleged Weinstein sexually assaulted her in 2006; Jessica Mann, who said Weinstein raped her in 2013; and Annabella Sciorra, who alleged Weinstein raped her in the winter of 1993 or 1994.

Then almost exactly three years after his conviction in his landmark New York trial, Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 16 years in prison in a Los Angeles courtroom after being accused of sex offenses in California. At age 71, he’s now facing up to 39 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Bill Cosby, who has previously offered support to Harvey Weinstein after his 2020 conviction in New York, has also been accused of several sexual assaults. In 2018, Cosby was convicted of drugging and raping a woman in 2004 and was sentenced to 3-10 years. After serving two years, the then-82-year-old was granted an appeal and in June 2021, his conviction was overturned. However, the lawsuits have continued to roll in since, with his most recent suit being filed in September 2023.
