The first poster has been released for the upcoming gore-fest fairytale horror film Cinderella’s Curse, which is a super dark and bloody retelling of the classic story of Cinderella.
The R-rated movie comes from ITN Studios, which is the same studio behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. The movie is directed by Louisa Warren and written by Harry Boxley.
Warren said in a new statement: “The film is CARRIE meets CINDERELLA. Cinderella will go through hell and no one will get out easy! There’s an incredible scene in which a carriage explodes into flames. It’s going to be a fun ride!”
The director of the film previously said: “This an incredibly unique spin on the Cinderella we all love and know. There are going to be some truly horrific deaths by her hands. I think the gore hounds are in for a treat in my dark retelling.”
The cast for the film includes Kelly Rian Sanson, Chrissie Wunna, and Danielle Scott. The movie will be released in 2024.
