The “craziest party in the world” is soon coming to Netflix, thanks to elrow—or so we thought.
For those unfamiliar, Alice left Wonderland for a weirder, wilder adventure when she stumbled upon an elrow event. Traveling the globe for over a decade to unite electronic music enthusiasts in bacchanalian celebration, the famed Spanish party brand tilts against the mundane by transforming industrial spaces into flamboyant adult playgrounds teeming with sensory splendor.
Fueled by techno and deep house, the organizer’s phantasmal events operate like masterclasses in new-age hedonism for a generation who sees life itself as the ultimate form of performance art. And elrow seemingly called on that generation to breathe life into an upcoming Netflix production.
The company’s CEO, Juan Arnau Jr., today revealed an upcoming documentary on the streaming service. But the film, which he said had been in production for eight months and was scheduled to release in late-2024, is a hoax.

The bogus documentary was announced to celebrate Día de los Santos Inocentes, or Day of the Holy Innocents, Spain’s equivalent of April Fool’s Day. Despite its dark pagan origins, the holiday, which is annually observed on December 28th, is characterized today by whimsical pranks and practical jokes.
Arnau’s playful prank went as far as issuing a casting call in search of 1,000 fans to travel with elrow’s production team and appear as extras in upcoming events at Chile’s Atacama Desert, South Africa’s Victoria Waterfalls and Rome’s legendary Colosseum. He said all expenses would be covered, including travel, accommodation, per diem and full access to the fictitious shows.
