Amid the explosion over Monica Garcia’s involvement with gossip page Reality Von Tease, castmate Mary Cosby – who became chums with her in the season – shared where she stands in the cast divide.
The boom was captured on tape, perfectly timed for the season four finale of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Now fans are questioning if producers were tipped off beforehand, though a source just denied that production knew anything.
Recently, Monica’s friend Mary was asked where she stands.
“I’m in the 1/2 & 1/2 split down the mid…” wrote Mary in a comment shared by @allabouttrh on Instagram.
Meanwhile, a source claimed producers were unaware of Monica’s involvement with the account.
“The casting team and producers were unaware of Monica’s association with the Instagram account Reality Von Tease, and they had no knowledge of the account when she was cast,” said the insider in an interview with ET. “While they were aware of her connection with Jen Shah, they were completely unaware of the information that Heather discovered in Bermuda. Heather’s revelation came as a surprise to the producers, much like the unexpected FBI visit at the Beauty Lab & Laser parking lot during season 2 involving Jen.”
Is this a case of ‘deny deny deny’ – or were producers truly in the dark? If blameless, this production team is perhaps the luckiest in television history.
Would it be so bad if they were guilty? A ‘conspiracy’ is nothing more than the act of plotting. Is it beyond comprehension that producers – or Heather Gay – would wait till the perfect moment to ‘discover’ their smoking gun?
