We won’t “Blame You” for being a little too excited for Nero’s upcoming release.
Wasting no time to ramp up the hype for their comeback year, the group announced the second single off of their third album, Into The Unknown, just two days into the new year.
The release will follow October’s “Truth,” the lead single from the album, which will function as the sequel to 2015’s Between II Worlds. The upcoming record will conclude their album trilogy that began 13 years ago with their masterful debut, Welcome Reality.
The band took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to share a clip of the single and give fans a taste of their next anthem. In the 30-second teaser, you can hear a small sprinkle of vocals from Nero’s Alana Watson layered upon darkened, futuristic drum & bass reminiscent of some of their fan-favorite hits.
Nero have not yet announced the release date of “Blame You” at the time of writing, but the trio promised its release near the end of the month. Moreover, the release date of Into The Unknown is also unclear but the album has been slated to arrive in 2024.
