The drama between RHOA alum Kim Zolciak and her husband Kroy seems to be neverending. Not only has the pair had several domestic disputes, but they also owe a ton of money to various creditors. They even have a rather large tax debt. But now it seems Kroy is fed up with Kim selling off her designer items and not putting the money toward what they owe.
As fans know, Kim has been selling designer purses, clothing, and even wigs on Instagram. She even started a second page recently with even more items. However, it has long been said that none of the income went to the couple’s bills.
Now, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kroy wants that to change. The former NFL player is unsure of where she’s putting the money. It has been alleged that she used some of it to buy Christmas presents for the kids. In the meantime, Kroy says their estate is “weighed down by significant debt.”
Though no specific number was given, Kroy says in the legal documents that he believes the value of her designer items to be “worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.” He also believes that the former RHOA star purchased most of the items during their marriage.
According to the legal documents, Kroy believes they are in a “dire financial situation.” This includes a reported $1.1 million owed to the IRS, multiple loans from private lenders, and their Atlanta home is in foreclosure. He wants the court to equally divide their assets.
However, sources close to Kim say she has been selling items she acquired before they were married. The source also confirms that she did use some of the income for Christmas presents.
The same sources also tell TMZ that Kim paid for house expenses and bills by herself for many years during their marriage. Of course, Kroy hasn’t played football professionally since 2016. There are reports that he made a little over $14,000,000 in his eight-year career.
As for Kim, she hasn’t had a steady gig on reality TV for several years. However, she will be in the upcoming season of The Surreal Life.
