Yikes! Sacramento rapper Stunna Girl is catching major heat after getting into it with Ciara’s fans! The rapper called out a producer she recently worked with who sampled the singer’s 2004 debut single “Goodies” for Stunna’s song “Stand Up,” which features Los Angeles rapper YG.

On Thursday (January 11), Stunna Girl took to her account on X (formerly Twitter) and said, “I literally hate when producers use samples. These artists be acting like they made the beats. It’s so many people that used that beat, but Ciara team writing me saying she personally contacted them about me. But anytime I’d one used a beat that was sampled by a white artist, they didn’t give a f**k.”
Stunna started going back and forth with Ciara’s fans and fan pages on X and eventually fired back and called out the producer of her song that samples “Goodies” and features YG. She said, “The producer said he took care of it, so I’m not in the wrong. My point still stands, all these beats are sampled that’s not even an original beat. The only people who should really care should be the actual producers who made it. The artists should care when their lyrics or voice is being used.”

While going off about the “Goodies” sampled song getting pulled from streaming platforms, Ciara’s fans called out Stunna Girl. One person wrote, “You hired the producer. It’s all about accountability. Know who you’re working with.” Stunna Girl said, “Still has nothing to do with. I ain’t make the beat.”
Another X user said, “You need to pay for samples. If you’re too poor to pay for samples, don’t use them. It’s that simple.” Stunna Girl said, “Btch I paid the producer. That’s his department. Shut the f**k up.”

Another person said, “Ciara gotta make money from her music somehow sis.” Stunna Girl said, “She better go moonwalk thru some venues and leave me the f**k alone.”
Another X user told the rapper that Ciara owns her music, including that iconic hit. They said, “But she owns her music. I think that’s why. If someone uses a beat that’s not switched up and to an iconic song at that. I’d be wondering how the hell did my beat get used without my knowledge.”
Stunna Girl said, “Bye. Sooo many people used that beat. If they gone come for one, they need come for all.”
One X user supported the rapper and said, “Wait what? I know Miss. 1, 2 Step not tripping after all the girl code sh*t she be preaching about.” Stunna Girl added, “That girl code sh*t be fake. These old h*s be hating.”
