Sofia Vergara dropped jaws in her white swimwear back in December 2022, and fans still can’t get over the photo. Ditching the professional photographers as she took matters into her own hands, the 51-year-old sitcom star snapped a selfie of herself in a tight bathing suit for her Instagram followers, and new comments are still flying in.
Sizzling in her figure-hugging one-piece, Sofia showed off her sensational figure as she continues to defy her age, and one fan even told her that she looks “hotter than 20 year olds.” Overall, the share earned Sofia over 1.2 million likes, including one from actress Salma Hayek.
Killer Swimsuit Body
Scroll for the photo. Posing from a sandy beach path and amid lush greenery, Sofia stunned the camera as she highlighted her hourglass curves in a spaghetti-strap swimsuit in a crisp shade of white.
Drawing attention to her slender waist and ample assets, the Modern Family alum also caught the eye with her shapely arms, of course further melting fans with her gorgeous features.

Wearing her lightened tresses down and with a center parting, Sofia held her phone up above her head so as to best showcase her swimwear. The Walmart partner completed her look via a warming face of makeup, wearing blush over blended foundation and rocking a defined brow. Sending out a smile, Sofia told her fans: “The days are short here,” taking to her caption in her native Spanish.
Comments didn’t take long to fly in. “Stunning,” one fan replied.
“Beautiful,” another said. Meanwhile, a third fan threw out the ultimate compliment, telling Vergara: “50 & looking hotter than 20 yr olds!”
Bathroom Bikini Selfie
Also gaining plenty of likes was this bathroom selfie as Sofia posed in a plunging black two-piece and showed off her flat stomach and killer legs while snapping a photo of herself. As to defying her age, it’s a simple philosophy for Sofia.
“I believe, more than fixing anything, in preventing. Once you get the wrinkle, once you get the sagging neck, that’s it. There’s no cream that is going to fix you. So, prevention, prevention, prevention!” the star has stated. This ties nicely into her 2023-launched sunscreen brand, Toty.
Not Embarrassed To Tuck In
Sofia has also divulged that she isn’t embarrassed to rely on shapewear for some of her more revealing looks. Giving a nod to the clothing item also adored by SKIMS mogul Kim Kardashian, Sofia told Who What Wear:
“You think of shapewear as the stuff you wear for special occasions but because of the technology, we’ve been able to achieve a product that’s super comfortable so you can look like you’re ready for a red carpet every day. You don’t have to suffer.” She added that that’s the “magnificent thing about shapewear.”
