After stepping away from RHOSLC and returning as a friend of for season 4, OG Mary Cosby wants back on the show full-time for season 5!
When the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premiered in November 2020, Mary Cosby became one of the most fascinating characters on Bravo.
As Mary’s popularity soared due to her quirkiness and unique lifestyle, fans naturally wanted to know more about Mary and her Pentecostal church.
However, when some not-so-pretty allegations against Mary and her church surfaced on social media and on RHOSLC, Mary abruptly left the show at the end of season two.
After taking a season away from the cameras, Mary surprisingly agreed to return to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for season 4 as a ‘friend of’ the Housewives. Fans were happy to have Mary’s humor and her penchant for saying whatever she thinks back on Bravo.
Now, Mary reveals that she wants to return for season 5 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but this time, she wants to be a full-fledged Housewife again.
“Yeah, maybe,” Mary told E! News. “Only because I feel like I’m here for Monica [Garcia], and if I need to be full cast to make sure she gets where she’s going, I’m here to support her.”
“It was good for me; I don’t think it was good for them,” she explained of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion. “It certainly wasn’t good for Monica, but it was good for me. I was there for a little amount of time and then I was gone in the right amount of time. I poked in and poked out.”
Mary notes that the drama is what keeps viewers turning in, and since day one, they have gotten that on RHOSLC.
“I think a lot of it is probably because we’ve been through the worst out of all the franchises,” Mary noted. “We’ve gotten beaten up a lot. People bond with that and relate.”
Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
