After career years for G-REX and Hairitage, they’re kicking off 2024 with a full head of steam after the longtime friends unleashed their long-awaited collaboration “Pocket Change.”
“Pocket Change” embodies all that is both G-REX and Hairitage’s signature sounds, imbuing them into the perfect festival weapon. It’s a crowd-pleaser through and through, enthralling us with its hypnotic intro, menacing synths and rattling percussive elements. The setlist staple will ultimately become a festival-circuit favorite, setting the pair up for another big run this year.
“Hairitage and I have been talking about getting a track together for a long time now,” G-REX said. “Last year we had tour dates together and finally got some demos started. This was definitely our favorite of them and was a crowd favorite.”
G-REX had a monster year in 2023, which him release some of his best music to-date. He kicked off the year with “SOLO” before following with “Smoked Out Killaz” and his fan-favorite collaboration with Skrillex, PEENABOO and Flowdan, “Badders.” Meanwhile, Hairitage released a pair of massive EPs, Art of War and The Epic as well as high-profile collaborations with Black Tiger Sex Machine, DIESEL and Sully, among others.
