A new probate has been filed in the case of actor Christian Oliver, who tragically died alongside his two daughters in a fatal plane crash earlier this year.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the late Oliver died without having a will and his family has nominated someone to be the administrator of his estate and the wealth he left behind.
Christian Oliver’s Family Appoint Administrator For His Estate
Oliver’s heirs filed the document in L.A. County Courts, asking for a specific person to be appointed as the executor of his estate.
According to the court documents, the “Indiana Jones” actor left behind a net worth of $1,080,000, but he had no will to his name. His wealth comprises personal property of $150,000 and a real estate property in California with a Gross fair market value of $1,650,000 and a net value of $930,000 once encumbrances are removed.
Oliver was survived by his parents, his father, Gerhard Theo Klepser, his mother, Ursula Klepser, and his sister Alexandra Klepser. The three heirs are asking to appoint someone named Konstantin Ritcher as the administrator of the German native’s estate.
At the time of his unfortunate passing, Oliver was divorced — the legal document claimed — and sadly, his two daughters lost their lives in the plane crash, so his fortune will most likely go to his other family members.
Recall that the “Cobra 11” star and his daughters, Madita and Annikand, tragically died on January 4 when their small single-engine jet crashed into the sea. The beautiful family was the sole passengers on the jet and were en route to St. Lucia after departing from J.F. Mitchell Airport on the Grenadine island of Bequia.
According to reports, the aircraft encountered an unexplained issue during the afternoon flight, resulting in its descent into the ocean one nautical mile west of Petit Nevis shortly after takeoff.
The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard initiated a rescue effort with the assistance of local fishermen and divers in the vicinity, but it was to no avail. Eventually, four bodies were recovered from the wreckage, and they were identified as Oliver, his baby girls, and the pilot, Robert Sachs.
Oliver and his daughters’ heartbreaking demise took the world by storm and fans immediately camped under his last post to mourn his loss. His final post was a New Year’s post to usher in 2024. “Let Love Rule. Wishing all of you the best of 2024. Greetings from somewhere in paradise! To community and love… 2024 here we come!” he captioned the upload.
“I am physically ill. This must be a mistake. I just talked to him 2 months ago – someone please make sure this isn’t some terrible mistake,” a supposed insider commented, while another person expressed, “sending my condolences. someone, please make sure his wife is ok. sending many prayers her way.”
Christian Oliver’s Ex-Wife Broke Her Silence On The Loss Of Her Family
Days after the tragic incident, Oliver’s estranged wife, Jessica Klepser, broke her silence about the devastating crash while paying tribute to her family via a statement shared on her boss’ Instagram.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane accident on January 4, 2024, which took the lives of our beloved family members. Our daughters, Madita (12) and Annik (10), along with their father, Christian, were returning from a holiday in the Caribbean when the single-engine plane they were traveling in experienced engine trouble and fell into the ocean. Unfortunately, all four passengers on the small aircraft did not survive,” the statement read.
It continued, extolling the virtues of her late children, “Madita, a vibrant 7th-grade student at Louis Armstrong Middle School, was known for her lively spirit and excelled in academics, dance, singing, and performances. Annik, a 4th-grade student at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, was recognized for her gentle yet strong demeanor. She was always the first to offer a kind word or a comforting hug. Her passions included basketball, swimming, and various forms of art.”
