Episode 12 of My Happy Ending, starring Jang Na-Ra, arrived on TV Chosun on Sunday, February 4, 2024. In the new episode, viewers see a set of highly thrilling incidents. Jang Na-Ra’s character, Seo Jae-Won, returns home from the psychiatry treatment center. After her husband, Heo Sun-Yeong’s (Son Ho-Jun) death, she is looking for revenge. She has become determined to bring both Kwon Yoon-Jin (So Yi-Hyun) and her father down.
My Happy Ending episode 12 also showcases Yoon Te-Oh (Lee Ki-Taek) helping Jae-Won in every possible way on her quest to bring Yoon-Jin and her father to justice for their criminal activities and corruption. However, the biggest highlight of the episode is Yoon-Jin’s father, Kwon Young-Ik (Kim Myung-Soo), kidnapping Jae-Won.

My Happy Ending episode 12: Seo Jae-Won (Jang Na-Ra) is abducted by Kwon Young-Ik (Kim Myung-Soo)
My Happy Ending episode 12 begins with Yoon Te-Oh hitting Kim Sang-Beom with a car for what he has done till now. After that, Te-Oh takes Seo Jae-Won home, where an intruder is already standing. He leaves after seeing them. Te-Oh is concerned for Jae-Won’s safety, but she insists on living in her house. Although she has returned from the psychiatry treatment center, she is still seeing Psychiatrist Jo Su-Gyeong as a part of her hallucination.
Yoon Te-Oh tries to take as much care of Jae-Won as possible. Later on, Jae-Won arrives at a ceremony that is taking place at Dereve. After arriving there, she congratulates Kwon Yoon-Jin for being the new SEO of the company and taking her position. However, her actual intention is to threaten her and make her understand that she is coming after her and her father, Kwon Young-Ik, for their sinister crimes.
In the meantime, Nam Tae-Joo meets Jae-Won’s father and starts blackmailing him about the truth regarding Jae-Won’s mother’s death. It looks like Nam Tae-Joo knows a lot more about Jae-Won and her family. The My Happy Ending episode then shows the new detective, Oh Soo-Jin, who has been assigned to investigate Heo Sun-Yeong’s murder case, interrogating Jae-Won. The new detective also asks questions to her about Kim Sang-Beom’s sudden accident.
Detective Oh Soo-Jin then meets Nam Tae-Joo at a restaurant, where she talks to the old detective about the case. It looks like Oh Soo-Jin knows Nam Tae-Joo very well. She then teases him with the fact that the place where Heo Sun-Yeong’s murder happened is the same place where another unsolved case happened earlier. She also informs that Nam Tae-Joo was leading the earlier case.
Episode 12 of My Happy Ending then discloses that Kwon Yoon-Jin’s father is responsible for the tragedy that happened to Yoon-Jin ten months ago. Then, the episode shows Nam Tae-Joo attacking Jae-Won after she catches him inside her house, trying to look for information. However, Te-Oh arrives at the right time to save her. Later on the next day, Jae-Won goes to meet Assemblyman Park.
Seo Jae-Won (Jang Na-Ra) still has the upper hand over Kwon Young-Ik (Kim Myung-Soo) in episode 12
In My Happy Ending episode 12, Jae-Won also makes sure that Baek Seung-Gyu is safe by removing him from the hospital after he regains consciousness. In the meantime, an executive at Dereve helps Jae-Won and Te-Oh by giving them important information about Kwon Young-Ik’s corruption. Soon, the news of Kwon Young-Ik’s company’s corruption comes out. It looks like Kwon Young-Ik is going down for all his crimes and embezzlement.
After hearing the news in My Happy Ending episode 12, Kwon Yoon-Jin comes to see her father. She informs him about Jae-Won’s meeting with Assemblyman Park. Both of them are furious, and it seems like Kwon Young-Ik is scared as he believes that he will go down. Jae-Won then visits Kwon Young-Ik and again threatens him. She makes sure that he understands that she has the upper hand over the entire situation now.
At the end of the episode, Jae-Won finally gets to talk to Baek Seung-Gyu, who has recently gained consciousness after the dangerous fall from the office building. Then, the episode shows that Jae-Won has planned something extremely dangerous to lure Kwon Young-Ik to her trap so that she can unveil all his dark secrets in front of the world.
As presumed by Jae-Won, Kwon Young-Ik makes a man kidnap Jae-Won. However, he does not know that Jae-Won is wearing a hidden camera on her clothes to record everything he says. The episode ends right there.
