TVING’s upcoming K-drama Pyramid Game released a new trailer featuring a dark school violence story. The series will air on Thursday, February 29, 2024. It follows the story of a school student, Sung Su-Ji (WJSN’s Bona), who becomes the target of school bullying and finally launches a rebellion against these harsh attacks. The thriller drama entails an intriguing story, interesting characters, and a gripping plotline.

The newly released trailer documents a confused Sung Su-Ji transferring to a new school, where popularity polls take place to rank the students. The least popular among them then becomes a target for bullying. Su-Ji eventually becomes one of the targets and undergoes one of the harshest bullying attacks repeatedly in school. Although she gets entangled in a pyramid game, she becomes the leader of a rebellion.

The trailer for Pyramid Game begins with Sung Su-Ji transferring to a new school. The story, set in Baekyeon Girls High School, follows Su-Ji’s bullying and subsequent rebellion journey. She feels strange entering her classroom. A fellow student announces that the class plays a game on the last Thursday of every month. Su-Ji eventually becomes part of the 13th Pyramid Game.

The girls then begin to play the game. They enter their name and grade their classmates through a popularity vote. After that, the student who gets an F grade becomes the target of bullying. In the trailer, Su-Ji gets 0 votes and an F grade, which means that she becomes the next target. From then on, the girls take turns bullying Su-Ji one by one. They ask her to do her job as an ‘F grade’ properly. Meanwhile, another girl mocks Su-Ji by stating it’s not her fault.

Su-Ji realizes this is a school where everything that happens to a student with an F grade is legal. Su-Ji calls it a “hell that is beyond imagination.” As she continues to endure harsh bullying from her classmates, Su-Ji secretly becomes the leader of a rebellion. She begins to find ways people can break this system and put an end to it forever.

Pyramid Game release date, cast & more on TVING

Pyramid Game premieres on Thursday, February 29, 2024, on TVING. It features an interesting list of cast members, including newcomers. WJSN’s Bona, IVE’s Jang Won-Young’s older sister Jang Da-Ah, Single’s Inferno season 2 cast member Shin Seul-Ki essay main roles alongside Ryu Da-In, Kang Na-On, Jung Ha-Dam, and Ha Yul-Ri.

Other supporting characters include Hwang Hyun-Jeong, Lee Ju-Yeon, Oh Se-Eun, Kim Se-Hee, Ahn So-Yo, Son Ji-Na, Son Ji-Young, Kim Ye-Na, Jo Dong-In, Cha Jung-Hyun, and Kwon I-Soo.
