Keke Wyatt has exclusively revealed her latest business plans and announced she’s opening her own church.

More Details On Keke Wyatt’s Latest Venture
According to The Shade Room’s Jade Whiteside, the singer shared an exclusive statement regarding her upcoming plans. The 41-year-old mother of 11 said she’d dreamt about creating a non-traditional church for years.
The singer wanted the space to be a place of “worship and word” and accepting of “all people.”
“I’ve had a dream for years to plant a church that was not a traditional one but one that was focused on Worship and Word and acceptance of all people,” she explained. “A place for those that are done with the drama and judgment of religious people. God said now, so I’m saying yes!”
Wyatt reportedly plans to launch the venture with her ministry partner, Pastor Larry Weathers. Additionally, the church will be called SOUND-Atlanta.
The Singer Speaks On How Her Plans Will Impact Her Music Career
In addition to sharing her plans, Wyatt is also opening up about how the new venture will affect her singing career. Will she be switching her tune from R&B to Gospel? She says no.
“Nothing is changing with my music; I’m not switching to sing Gospel. I’ll still be singing R&B and doing all my shows,” she said.
The mother of 11 also explained that artists can “do both.”
“You can do both, and I want to show the world you don’t have to compromise your love for Jesus and can still do great music centered around love,” she added.
According to Wyatt, her church’s inaugural service will be on Sunday, February 18.
To note, Wyatt initially promoted Sound-Atlanta in a post shared via Instagram on December 6, 2023. At the time, the flyer stated that the church’s service would be held at Seed Planters Church in McDonough, Georgia.
On January 27, Wyatt shared another flyer stating that a second Sound-Atlanta session would be held in Conyers, Georgia.
At this time, it remains unclear where the church will officially remain based.
Keke Wyatt Recently Made Headlines
As The Shade Room previously reported, Keke Wyatt made headlines in October 2023. At the time, she opened up about balancing her career and schedule as a mother of 11.
Wyatt explained that things aren’t “hard at all” and seemingly gets to spend valued one-on-one time with each of her children.
“It actually is not hard at all,” the singer told US Weekly. “So if I have to go to the store, I’ll take one with me, and that’s our time. Or if I’m going to the studio to record, I’ll take one, whoever’s asking to go. I just do it like that, and I get my one-on-one time in.”
In addition, the singer also opened up about caring for her youngest child, who was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, and whether or not she’ll be expanding her family any further.
