Nicki Minaj has given Blac Chyna‘s mother Tokyo Toni enough money to help pay for her electric bill, and the act of kindness has made her extremely excited.
Chyna’s mother was on Instagram Live when the Pinkprint rapper sent her the cash, and she got extremely excited knowing that “half” of her electric bill was now covered.
“Nicki, that’s electric bill, almost,” Blac Chyna’s mother exclaimed as she danced on camera and sang. “Electric bill, half, almost, coming!”
Tokyo then proceeded to twerk away after speaking about her $700 electric bill and began thanking Nicki profusely for her generosity. “I had to do that one time,” she said of her twerking. “Thank you. That’s so sweet I don’t know how, damn. That’s so sweet. Thank you Nicki!”

It’s unclear what prompted Nicki Minaj to be so generous towards Blac Chyna’s mother, who made headlines earlier this year for criticizing her daughter’s Grammy outfit.
Chyna donned an all-black feathered body suit made of rhinestones, and Tokyo told TMZ in February she thought it was a “horrible” look.
“I texted Chyna this morning when I found out. I said, ‘Chyna what in the H is this? Who are you trying to not impress? Was this the guy that lives with you? Because this looks like this style,’” Toni said. “I mean it may have been a little mean or whatever but it was well deserved … so yeah I text her and told her, ‘What is that? What are you doing?’ No response. Maybe if I said, ‘Oh the dress was beautiful I would have gotten a response.’”
She continued: “It was terrible and I just wish that whole day could just rewind and bring her back and put a nice golden dress on her with some blonde hair I would have been happy. It was horrible. I think that outfit was horrendous. It was sickening. It looks like a worship ceremony. She look like Black Adam’s wife.
“It was disgusting. Her eyes. It don’t look like Blac Chyna. It don’t look like her and that dress … I do believe she deserves the trolling ’cause it’s well-deserved … It was just terrible. I wouldn’t wish that dress on anybody in the world. It looks like the devil.”
Blac Chyna has admittedly had a rocky relationship with her mother over the past few years. In 2019, the pair got into an explosive fight on Chyna’s Zeus TV reality show The Real Blac Chyna, in which she at one point threw a chair at her mother after she called her “bipolar.”
As for Nicki, she’s hard at work on Pink Friday 2, which drops later this year. She first announced the albumback in June, and has since shared a few snippets from the forthcoming project.
“Dear Barbz, I’ve been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit,” she wrote on Twitter at the time.
“Trust me, it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT…but since I AM shifting the date just a tad, I’d like to give you guys a tiny SIP of some more album tea so that I don’t have to get cussed out so…here it goes: MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 11.17.23- And she shall be called #PinkFriday2.”
She added: “I love you guys so much. I am so grateful for the years of support & love you guys have given me. At times maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you have poured into me. Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album.”
Minaj also revealed plans to hit the road, saying that an accompanying tour will follow early next year. “I will give tour deets closer to that time, but obviously the tour will start around the first quarter of 2024,” she wrote. “I’ll also share the REAL album cover at a later date.”
The original Pink Friday was a blockbuster success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 while spawning a string of hit singles like “Super Bass,” “Moment 4 Life” and “Your Love.”
