Kanye West‘s newest track, “Carnival,” has taken his beef with Taylor Swift to new heights, and her fans are far from pleased with the song’s explicit lyrics.
The rapper, legally known as Ye, became the No.1 enemy of Swifties after name-dropping the sensational songstress in a seemingly offensive way. Many expressed rage over his actions, particularly offended that he categorized her with celebrities that have gone down for sexual abuse.

The drama went down following the release of Ye’s joint album with Ty Dolla $ign titled, “Vultures.” In one of the tracks titled “Carnival,” the rapper went on a name-dropping spree, mentioning Swift alongside disgraced singer R. Kelly, shamed actor Bill Cosby, and rapper Diddy, who is currently knee-deep in an array of sexual assault allegations.
Part of the x-rated lyrics read: “Now I’m Ye Kelly, b— (Ha), now, I’m Bill Cosby, b— (Ha). Now, I’m Puff Daddy rich (Ha), that’s ‘#MeToo me’ rich (Ha). Why she say she sucked my d—? (Ha). Then she say she ain’t sucked my d— (Ha). She gon’ take it up the a— (Ha), like a ventriloquist (Ha). I made six Taylor Swift (Ha).”
While the rapper’s choice of words sparked media outrage, Swifites were particularly infuriated as they believed Ye was indirectly labeling their idol a s-x offender by associating her with Cosby and the likes.
One X user described Ye’s actions as intentional, writing, “Mentioning Taylor’s name next to a bunch of men who are sex offenders is definitely a choice.”Another echoed similar sentiments, claiming West used Swift’s name for clout. This fan shared a video of a woman calling herself a genius alongside the caption, “How Kanye West felt name dropping Taylor Swift in his new album cause it’s the only way he can get relevancy. #taylorswift #KanyeWest.”
A third fan lamented, “Kanye West is the type of man who always falls into the sexist, disgusting and male chauvinist insults because otherwise he doesn’t know what to say against THE WOMAN that is Taylor Swift,” a third argued.
More fans echoed their disappointment in West, with one X user wondering, “Did he just shoutout Taylor Swift, R Kelly, and Diddy in the same verse?” Another upset person noted, “What does “I made six Taylor Swift” even mean?? And why in God’s name would anyone ever want to compare themselves to Bill Cosby?!”
“Ok, so now we’re comparing Taylor Swift to BILL COSBY???” Someone asked, while a fan warned West to back off with the tweet, “Keep Taylor’s name OUT YOUR MOUTH.”

Additionally, a concerned Swiftie noted the rapper’s beef had gone on for too long, writing, “Taylor has been bullied by this man since I’ve known her, and everyone is just quiet like it’s nothing.”
Taylor Swift Said Feud With Kanye West Affected Her ‘Psychologically’
Kanye’s recent song brings to mind an emotional interview last December, Swift addressed her issues with West and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. The “Bad Blood” singer noted her life went downhill in 2016 following an allegedly edited phone call that caused many to brand her as a liar.
The issues between the trio began after West explicitly sang about Swift in his 2016 song “Famous.” Afterward, she fought back against his usage of her name without consent; however, the rapper’s then-wife shared audio of a phone call on social media that alleged she agreed to the track.
“You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar,” Swift said about the controversial incident. She revealed it severely impacted her emotionally, adding:
“That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.”
The backlash she received at the time led her to create her most rebellious album yet, “Reputation.” The studio project’s lead single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” featured several snake references, presumably her response to the former couple’s schemes.
The beef between Swift and West began at the 2009 MTV VMAs, where the Hip-hop star stormed the stage and proudly declared Beyoncé deserved to win the Best Female Video category. His support for Queen Bey came while Swift gave her acceptance speech for the prestigious award.
“If God ain’t want me to run on stage and say Beyoncé had the best video, he wouldn’t have sat me in the front row,” West said of his behavior at the time, adding: “I was only drinking Hennessy because I didn’t want to go to the awards show because it was a set-up.”
