On Vanderpump Rules, Tom Sandoval admits he feels “abandoned” by Raquel Leviss and is upset over Scandoval ruining his Rockstar dreams.
Tom Sandoval’s life isn’t going to plan in the aftermath of Scandoval.
On Tuesday’s all-new episode of Vanderpump Rules, Tom Sandoval celebrated his 41st birthday without his former inner circle and his “love” Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
Sandoval’s affair with Raquel ended his nine year relationship with Ariana Madix and ostracized him from the entire Vanderpump Rules friendship group minus Tom Schwartz, who continues to have a soft spot for his BFF.
At his birthday party, Sandoval admitted to his friend Billie Lee that his feelings were “hurt” because he hasn’t heard from Raquel for a while. At the time this scene was filmed Raquel was just exiting treatment for mental health in Arizona.
“I feel like she abandoned you,” Billie responded. “I’ve seen you suffer from this breakup with Ariana but I’ve also seen you suffer with Raquel.”
Sandoval explained to Billie that he simply wanted to “connect” with Raquel.
In his confessional, he elaborated:
“Up until a few weeks ago, I was talking to Raquel once every couple days and I thought maybe because it was my birthday she would try to reach out to me in some way, but nothing. I considered her probably my best friend. Obviously, I love her and I miss her.”
Later on in the episode, Sandoval gets emotional when talking with Lisa Vanderpump about how he plans to move forward with his friends and Vanderpump Rules co-stars.
“I’m trying to figure this out. This is a lot for me… my friend Ali died, I have Scheana [Shay] hitting me up, telling me if I need anything, please reach out to her. Meanwhile, that same day, she’s releasing things starting rumors about me and Billie,” he said. “You know what Scheana? You know what I need from you, I need you to take a day off from f—ing dragging my name through the dirt. So, it’s really just ‘kick Tom when he’s down. Let’s kick Raquel while she’s down.’”
Sandoval insisted that he wanted to “move on” from the scandal as he claimed that Lisa was attacking him for his handling of the affair. He raised his voice and said, “This is my life. I’m not living my rock star dreams. I’m literally grueling. It’s grueling f—ing work.”
Sandoval explained that he wanted to “move on” from the scandal but quickly accused Lisa of attacking him for how he handled the affair and its aftermath.
He yelled, “This is my life. I’m not living my rock star dreams. I’m literally grueling. It’s grueling f—ing work.”
“Have some remorse,” Lisa quipped to which Sandoval replied, “I am!”
He added, “If I f—ing say I’m sorry, and I cry, oh crocodile tears.”
After Sandoval’s surprising admission, Lisa chatted with Tom Schwartz about Sandoval having “some really dark thoughts.”
Schwartz responded, “I would like to think I’m one of his best friends in the world and he didn’t tell me that until after I found out through other people in life.”
Lisa worried that things could quickly go down hill if the group doesn’t try to help Sandoval, saying, “I don’t think there’s a person on this planet who has lost someone to suicide that doesn’t have regret. If they say I’m foolish for reaching out to him, I’ll take it. I’ll take that rather than the alternative.”
She encouraged Schwartz to get the whole group together and “change the narrative.” Lisa suggested that group coming to celebrate the opening of her new restaurant Wolf in Lake Tahoe might be a good start.
Later on in the episode, as the entire Vanderpump Rules group, including Sandoval, headed to SUR to see James Kennedy DJ for See You Next Tuesday, Schwartz attempts to bring the group back together by suggesting they all head to Lake Tahoe for a mini vacation.
Schwartz believes the trip could be good for the group despite the “complicated situation.” However, Ariana has no interest in going on a trip with her ex, while Lala Kent warns Schwartz that Sandoval “will devastate you.”
As Schwartz continues to try to encourage the group to forgive Sandoval and start fresh, Ariana reminds him that Sandoval is the one who “destroyed” the friend group with his cheating and betrayal.
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
