Julia Lemigova wondered if Larsa Pippen’s jealousy caused her split with Michael Jordan’s son Marcus – as castmate Adriana de Moura hinted at things “behind the scenes” at the reunion, which will make fans “understand a lot more.”
Larsa and Marcus’ romance was controversial to many viewers because she was married to his dad’s former teammate Scottie Pippen, with whom Michael is reportedly feuding. Last year, Michael expressed his disapproval of the relationship, though the couple seemingly tried to sweep it under the rug on Real Housewives of Miami.
“Relationships are a hard thing. And we all know Larsa is very jealous,” said Julia in an interview with Page Six alongside co-star Adriana. “I mean, how jealous she got when she saw my picture on Marcus’ phone? Oh my God, and it was like the most innocent thing.”
“And it created a wave, so who knows? Maybe she’s seen a picture of somebody else?” she went on. “I hope, if it’s true [that they split], she’s not too heartbroken because — even though we have our differences — if the breakup is true I feel really, really bad for her because she was really in love … And they seemed really cute together. He was such a gentle, nice guy. It came as a shock.”
In another joint interview, Adriana and Julia were asked to share their reaction to the split.
“Well, I guess Lisa’s new app Splitsville is going to come … to [better] use,” said Adriana, speaking with Ricky Cornish, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “Actually they weren’t married, so … maybe not necessarily. But it was a surprise. Somewhat of a surprise. You know I think there was some writing on the wall.”
“I’m definitely remembering some things that were maybe not obvious to us then, but there are definitely more than two things that’s there,” Julia added.
Adriana teased some “behind the scenes things” at the reunion – which was recently filmed – that will make fans “understand a lot more.”
“A lot,” Julia confirmed. “And let me tell you something. My views on Marcus – whatever I thought of him before I found out some things that I know now – are completely changed.”
