Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan were spotted together on Valentine’s Day amid a new report which claims they split over Marcus’ desire to have children.
On Valentine’s Day, TMZ nabbed photos of Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan out and about in Miami. The two were spotted out at Trias Flowers & Gifts in Miami on Wednesday and then were seen heading back to Larsa’s Miami condo.
This is all quite confusing as multiple outlets have claimed that the two had split, but it seems that perhaps they are just on a break as they figure things out in their relationship.
The two have also re-followed each other on Instagram.
Now, let’s dive into what may have caused Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan to hit a rough patch in their relationship.
A source tells DailyMail.com that the Real Housewives of Miami couple’s 16-year-age gap was a “major factor” in their relationship issues.
While the now exes have yet to confirm their breakup publicly, insiders claim their differing opinions on starting a family caused major tensions in their yearlong romance. Their relationship ultimately fell apart at the seams after they failed to align their visions for the future.
“They were in love with each other, but once the honeymoon phase ended, they started to realize their priorities differed,” an insider revealed. “Their age difference played a major factor in the split, and on top of the fact that Marcus wants to have kids while she wants to be more of a celebrity.”
“They both had different ideas of what their family was going to be like, and that built lots of stress. They are just on different roads, but they are both to blame for not being together – even though they are blaming each other for the demise.”
As for whether or not there’s a chance that Larsa and Marcus may reconcile completely, the source notes: “Absolutely – but right now, it is very touch and go, and they don’t see eye to eye about much. They need to get back to where they originally started with each other and then it could work, this could be a good test to be away.”
RHOM’s Larsa Pippen and boyfriend, Marcus Jordan
The news of Larsa and Marcus’ relationship issues comes as a surprise to Bravo fans, as just last month, the two were hinting at getting engaged while appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
On a January episode of WWHL, the RHOM couple recently revealed that Marcus did give Larsa a “promise ring” and that they have been “shopping” around for engagement rings.
“We’ve been shopping. You know, we’ve been ruling out certain stones and are moving in that direction, obviously. It’s in the works,” Marcus told Andy Cohen.
Meanwhile, that same month, Larsa also told Us Weekly that she’s keeping an open mind about possibly welcoming a baby with Marcus in the future.
“I’m really happy with my four kids, but I feel like it wouldn’t be fair for me to not give Marcus that opportunity if we wanted to have kids [together],” the RHOM star admitted on January 11. “So, I do have a little insurance policy in a freezer in L.A., just in case.”
Marcus and Larsa began dating in 2022 after meeting at a Los Angeles party in 2019 and becoming close friends.
The Real Housewives of Miami airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
