K-pop trendsetters Stray Kids, aka SKZ, snagged significant wins at the Hanteo Music Awards 2024. Moreover, the group won the biggest prize of the night—Daesang (grand prize).

Comprising of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N., the K-pop boy band released their chart-topping third studio album, 5-Star, on June 2, 2023. The studio album exceeded 5.13 million pre-orders within a week, becoming the most pre-ordered release in K-pop history and breaking the record of Seventeen’s FML.

The album’s chart performance also resulted in the group’s multiple wins in some of the biggest award shows of the year. SKZ won the Best Album (Bonsang) in the Golden Disc Awards 2024. Notably, they also won the top K-pop album in Billboard Music Awards 2023.
