Kelsey Nicole, born Kelsey Harris, is finally breaking her silence following the 2020 shooting involving her ex-best friend, Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion, and ex-friend, Toronto rapper Tory Lanez. Nicole is now revealing how she’s been diagnosed with PTSD and is talking about the betrayal be Meg and Lanez, which she admits she found out on the night of the shooting, but also claims isn’t the reason for her and Meg falling out.
While appearing on ‘The Danza Project,’ Kelsey Nicole Harris talked about her life, her career, and of course, the 2020 shooting that rocked the nation and had everyone glued to their phones and computers during the trial.

During her sit-down, Kelsey Nicole reflected on being betrayed by her former best friend Megan Thee Stallion and their mutual friend Tory Lanez. Although Meg previously denied romantically seeing Lanez during her interview with Gayle King, it was later confirmed during her shooting trial.
Nicole reportedly testified that her best friend at the time hooked her up with Tory Lanez, then stole him when she caught COVID-19 and had to leave Los Angeles, CA, and quarantine back in Houston, Texas. During Nicole’s time away recovering, it was reported that Meg and Lanez grew closer during the pandemic, which can be confirmed via numerous Instagram Live sessions they were in together (physically and remotely).

In her ‘Danza Project‘ interview, Kelsey Nicole admitted that she’d never been betrayed like that before and is still unclear as to why they fell out after finding out about the betrayal, which she confirmed she learned about that night of the 2020 shooting.
Nicole said she was upset over it, but mainly because she expected Meg to be real enough to tell her and not have her find out the way she did. She said she and Meg were so close for so long and had both only known Lanez for just a short while. She felt their friendship was strong enough for them to both dump Lanez and boss up on him.

Kelsey Nicole said because of how she was done dirty by the two of them, especially someone she considered like a sister, she no longer wants to form close friendships anymore, it’s hard to trust people now. She admitted that she expected Meg to be woman enough to come to her about betrayal and have a conversation, regardless of how it ended: them remaining friends or moving on separately.
Nicole also talked about remaining quiet and being herself while Meg went online to talk about the shooting. She said it was hard because she wanted to defend herself against Meg’s “lie,” but she’s not the type of person to go online and blast someone, being confrontational and seeking drama; which she claimed is something Meg knew and “took advantage of.”
Later in the interview, Kelsey Nicole also talked about being diagnosed with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety, and depression. She said she did a series of tests in 2020/2021 and was recommended to seek therapy after her diagnoses, but she neglected the recommendations and moved on.
Nicole also addressed music manager and podcaster Wack 100 claiming there is a video that will clear Tory Lanez’s name and pin the incident on Kelsey Nicole. She said she heard his comments and repeatedly asked, “Where’s the video?” She said if there is a video, it wouldn’t do anything but clear her name because everyone who was at the scene knows the truth.
