Paramore are Record Store Day Ambassadors for 2024, and they’ve announced a new special, limited-edition release for the occasion. Their cover of Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House” will appear on side B of a 12-inch, with side A featuring a cover by David Byrne of their After Laughter track “Hard Times.” The RSD Exclusive release is an “extremely limited run exclusive for Record Store Day in 2024.”
Paramore’s 2023 “almost” remix album Re: This Is Why is also getting its first vinyl release for Record Store Day, on 2LP Ruby + Bone vinyl and single black vinyl. Foals, the Linda Lindas, Panda Bear, Zane Lowe, Wet Leg, DOMi & JD Beck, Remi Wolf, Bartees Strange, Romy, Claud, and Julien Baker all contributed remixed or reworked versions of This Is Why songs for the album.
