The world has got to know Janelle and Kody Brown from the TLC show Sister Wives. Unfortunately, the pair has suffered a tragic loss as their son, Garrison, has passed away. He was 25 and passed away in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he lived alone. The family has issued a statement after his tragic passing.
Janelle and Kody met in 1989 and got married a few years later in 1993. In addition to Garrison, they have three other kids together. However, they separated in 2022.
According to TMZ, Gabriel, who is Garrison’s brother, called the authorities on Tuesday, March 5, to report a death at the residence.
The report states that Garrison had passed away when law enforcement arrived. According to the authorities, he appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound. They suspected no foul play and are investigating Garrison’s death as a suicide.
Garrison had been living in the Arizona home since he bought it in 2021. He lived there with his pets. Garrison had moved away from his family during the pandemic partly as a result of butting heads with his dad. As many know, he was a member of the National Guard.
Janelle took to Instagram to express her sorrow over the loss of her son. She said, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
The TLC network also offered condolences over the family’s tragic loss. The network had this to say to Page Six, “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
Garrison’s passing is a real tragedy for his family, friends, pets, and viewers who watched him over the years. If you or anyone you know is struggling or having thoughts of suicide, please reach out to the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by texting 988.
