Jonathan Majors was spotted going H.A.M. in the gym recently as he reportedly prepares for a potential new movie role. According to TMZ, Majors’ Hollywood career doesn’t appear to be over yet, despite being dropped from several projects after his assault and harassment conviction.
As we’ve previously shared, in March 2023, Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City on charges accusing him of assaulting and strangling his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Immediately following his shocking arrest, advertisers began to pull away from the ‘Creed‘ actor, but his attorneys tried to reassure everyone that his name would be cleared and all charges dropped.

Shortly after, reports broke that Jonathan Majors’ management team and publicity team parted ways with him. Then reports claimed he wouldn’t be attending major events like the 2023 Met Gala, and Marvel began to consider replacing him in their ongoing projects with other actors. Then, things got worse legally when the actor faced additional victims alleging abuse against him. Again, his attorney asserted that the actor “would be fully exonerated,” and days later, footage dropped showing Majors’ ex-girlfriend partying in the club and using his credit cards after their alleged incident.
Days later, Majors’ ex was granted a restraining order against him ahead of their court appearance, and further details emerged alleging that the actor twisted his accuser’s arm and shoved her backward into a car. Amid all of his legal drama, in May 2023, reports then broke claiming Jonathan Majors and actress Meagan Good were dating; shortly after, photos of the two began to surface amid the rumors.
Then in June 2023, Majors filed a counterclaim against his ex-girlfriend, alleging that she attacked him. In September 2023, photos then surfaced showing Majors with scratches and ripped clothing from the night of his alleged altercation with his ex-girlfriend. By December 2023, Majors and Jabbari’s trial had begun, during which Jabbari claimed Majors had a “violent temper” and would tell her to be like Coretta Scott King or Michelle Obama. Majors also appeared to admit in alleged texts that he physically attacked his ex, claiming, “I’m a monster, a horrible man.”

In December 2023, Jonathan Majors was found guilty of assaulting his former girlfriend Grace Jabbari. A split verdict was made where Majors was found guilty of one misdemeanor assault charge and one harassment violation. He was acquitted of a different assault charge and aggravated harassment.
Following his assault and harassment conviction, Majors was immediately dropped by Disney/Marvel. The following month, he was also dropped from a Dennis Rodman movie he was participating in, and Majors’ movie ‘Magazine Dreams‘ was also affected when it lost its distributor.
Since his December 2023 conviction, Jonathan Majors has returned outside, hitting red carpets and all. Earlier this month, he was spotted with his girlfriend Meagan Good at the African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) Special Achievement Awards on Sunday (March 3) in Los Angeles, California. This occasion not only marked their first public appearance together but also Majors’ first red carpet since his recent legal troubles.

A week later, Jonathan Majors has now been spotted training hard in the gym as he reportedly readies a return to the big screen with a potential new movie. According to TMZ, sources told them that the actor left New York and was in Los Angeles for a week, hitting the gym hard, and training for a possible new role. However, it was not revealed what Majors’ potential new role entails, only that it might require him to be in great physical shape, which explains why in the videos obtained, he was training so intensely.
Sources told the site that Jonathan Majors is definitely trying to have that shredded, superhero look, and again, videos of him in the gym prove just that. Apparently, he has been working out with his regular trainers to get him just right for the potential role. Sources claimed that Majors will be traveling back and forth between visiting his girlfriend Meagan Good in New York and training in Los Angeles.
Again, details are unclear about the potential new movie, like when it’s scheduled to film, which is important to know since Jonathan Majors is due to be sentenced soon. His sentencing hearing is set for April 8 and his attorneys continue to use the time until then to get his conviction tossed.
