Kyle Richards shuts down a rumor that she and Morgan Wade have plans to “go public” with their relationship via a magazine cover.
During an Amazon Live stream, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards answered a fan question about a recent Blind Item that many Bravo fans believe is about her.
The 55-year-old read the question aloud: “Is there any truth of the blind item on Deux Moi hinting you would be doing a magazine cover with Morgan?”
“That is not true,” Kyle Richards insisted. “That blind item is not about me.”
“That’s not about—no,” she continued. It’s got to be somebody else. I wonder who it is? Now you have me curious.”
Last month, a juicy rumor began circulating online about RHOBH star Kyle Richards’ relationship with Morgan Wade.
The report claimed Kyle Richards planned to debut her relationship with country singer Morgan Wade in a major way after the RHOBH season 13 reunion.
Deux Moi reported that Kyle and Morgan were set to go public with their romance after months of denying speculation and rumors that they were an item.
A source told the outlet:
“This country music singer is set to premiere their relationship in a very public way. The loved-up pair shot a highly coveted magazine cover, which will drop shortly and be a shock to many.”
Meanwhile, on the same Amazon Live, Kyle also claimed that Bravo fans were “overreacting” to the video of Morgan rubbing her hip at Watch What Happens Live.
Kyle said:
“I mean, yes. I I actually was looking at pictures. I was with Kiki, and we both got our hands like that. And also when you’re nervous, you kinda like, you know I don’t know. I didn’t I thought it was just stupid, honestly.”
In mid-2023, speculation about Kyle Richards’ relationship with Morgan Wade began to make waves on social media. RHOBH fans noticed that Kyle was spending more time with Morgan than she was with her husband, Mauricio Umansky.
So when Mauricio and Kyle’s separation became public knowledge in July 2023, the Bravoverse was sent into a tizzy, believing that Morgan and Kyle were an item and the cause of the Bravo couple’s marital woes.
Morgan, Kyle, and Mauricio have all denied rumors that the OG Housewife and the 28-year-old country singer are anything more than just friends.
“It’s been a lot. It’s weird, it’s strange,” Morgan confessed to 103.5 Kiss FM in August 2023. “I’m like, ‘Just leave me alone.’ Now it’s just, like, whatever. We’re good friends, and it’s funny.”
Later that month, the country singer flat-out denied the claims she and Kyle were dating.
“We’re friends,” she told PEOPLE. “The Internet’s a dumb place.”
A month later, Mauricio addressed the gossip about his wife and Morgan.
“There is no doubt in my mind that Kyle has not slept or cheated with Morgan Wade. They are really great friends,” he told TMZ in September 2023. “They are filming stuff together; they’re doing stuff together. They are not in a relationship.”
Meanwhile, Kyle recently accused the media of creating a false narrative around her friendship with Morgan.
Kyle Richards says that the media twists everything when it comes to her friendship with Morgan, so much so that they even manipulate photos and cut their other friends out of pictures to make it seem like they are only hanging out together all the time when in reality it’s usually a group of them hanging out.
“Yeah, so that’s the narrative they want, so that’s been the focus,” Kyle admitted on a January episode of Jeff Lewis Live before explaining that she is currently leaning on her friends as she goes through many changes in her life and marriage.
