Rick Hilton was caught “liking” a fake meme of his daughter, Paris Hilton, appearing to slam her aunt, Kyle Richards, amid his ongoing feud with Mauricio Umansky.
After Mauricio, 53, was seen opening up about their falling out in a sneak peek at his Netflix reality series, Buying Beverly Hills, claiming he got “f*cked” by Rick’s real estate company, Hilton & Hyland, Rick, 68, “liked” a video of Paris, 43, on a May 2019 episode on Watch What Happens Live.
“She’s beyond … Lame and embarrassing,” Paris was heard saying as the title of the clip read, “When [Andy Cohen] asks Paris Hilton to say something nice about Kyle…”
But while Paris seemed to be talking about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, she was actually answering a question about Lindsay Lohan, 37.
Although the clip was incorrectly labeled, Rick seemed to appreciate it, offering a “like” after he saw it.
As the drama between Rick and Mauricio heats up once again, things appear to be great between Kyle and Kathy Hilton, 65, who reunited over the weekend at a pre-Oscars party.
“Out and about,” Kyle captioned the March 13 post, which featured her in a low-cut black lace gown and her older sister in a salmon-colored dress.
Kyle also honored Kathy on her Instagram Story after she turned 65 on Wednesday.
In the Buying Beverly Hills preview for season two, Mauricio was seen opening up to his current business partners at The Agency about why he left his former gig at Rick’s Hilton & Hyland.
“I think I got kind of f*cked by Hilton & Hyland. And when I say f*cked, you know, like, today I’m happy, but there was a hundred agents at Hilton & Hyland. They did a billion dollars for the first time a year. I was 19.6 percent of their production,” he recalled.
Mauricio had gone to Rick and asked to be made a partner of the firm but was denied.
“I am Rick’s brother-in-law but unfortunately, it got sour because it really affected the family — Kyle more than anybody,” he said. “You know, her family stopped speaking to her. But she understood that what was done to me was wrong and she stood by me and, at the end of the day, I needed that.”
Following the release of the clip earlier this week, Paris spoke out against Mauricio, accusing him of using their last name to promote his show.
“My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family-especially in the press,” she wrote in a comment shared on Instagram. “Frankly we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show. It is enough already.”
