The five-day festival kicks off Friday, March 29, in 100 AMC theaters across over 40 cities in the US. The event will also mark the 13th anniversary commemoration of Insidious on April 1.

Those who will attend the festival will get a chance to catch their favorite Blumhouse films on the big screen for only $8 per film. In addition, festival-goers may also have the chance to win giveaways, sneak peeks, and preview exclusive recorded messages from the creatives behind a certain feature.

The five-day festival will rerelease five acclaimed Blumhouse movies

The event will kick off with a Split theatrical rerelease, which originally hit theaters back in 2016. The film starred James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy from the direction of legendary filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan. The 2013 James DeMonaco-helmed The Purge will be screened on Saturday, March 30, followed by Ouija: Origin of Evil on Sunday, March 31.

Following, on Monday, April 1, Blumhouse and AMC will celebrate the 13th anniversary of Insidious with a theatrical rerelease. The event will then end on Tuesday, April 2, with The Invisible Man. The sci-fi horror, directed by Leigh Whannell, starred Elisabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

“We wanted to celebrate local communities of horror fans throughout the country with a fun, affordable and slightly evil night at the movies. We’re grateful to our partners at AMC for helping us bring this idea to life,” said Blumhouse CEO and founder, Jason Blum.

Tickets for Halfway to Halloween go on sale March 15 on AMCTheatres.com and AMC Mobile App.
