Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have been taking their Vultures listening parties around the world, and up next is a stop in Egypt for an event at the Pyramids.

According to a Billboard report from Wednesday (March 20),  the show will be taking place at the Step Pyramid of Djoser on April 20.

The show is set to begin at 8 p.m. locally in the desert of Saqqara, Egypt. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased here.

Check out Ye’s post promoting the event below.

Yeezy and Ty Dolla aren’t the first rappers to attempt a show at the Pyramids in Egypt.

Back in July 2023, Travis Scott announced that Utopia would be revealed during a concert at the ancient Pyramids of Giza in Egypt later this month.

La Flame initially announced that a live stream “transmitting from Egypt, the pyramids” would be taking place on July 28 (the album was released on that day).

“Utopia is wherever you are,” a poster for the concert read on the rapper’s Instagram page.

Two weeks later, and just two days before the album would be released, Live Nation announced that the Houston native’s show was scrapped.

“We regret to inform you that the UTOPIA show, originally scheduled for July 28th at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt is cancelled,” Live Nation Middle East said in a statement. “Unfortunately, despite highest efforts, complex production issues meant that the show could not be constructed in the desert.”

The news arrived after the Egyptian General Syndicate for Musical Professions announced that the performance would no longer be happening due to safety concerns and Scott’s culturally-damaging beliefs.

“Since the General Syndicate is part of the fabric of this beloved country it is keen on its stability and refuses to tamper with societal values and Egyptian and Arab customs,” the organization said in a statement.

“Based on research and documented information about strange rituals at Travis’s concerts that are inconsistent with our authentic societal values and traditions, the Board of Directors has decided to cancel the license issued to hold this type of concert that contradicts the cultural identity of the Egyptian people.”

Despite the show being canceled, a number of fans still stopped by the historic landmark and threw a party in Scott’s honor.

In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), a group of fans could be seeing partying and dancing under the moonlight as they sung “Bystanders” from Scott’s Astroworld album.

The song, which samples “Tear da Club Up” by Three 6 Mafia, features the lyrics, “fuck the club up! Fuck the club up!” which the revelers could be heard chanting as they danced along.
