Actress Blake Lively recently took to social media to express her regret over a previous post where she made light of Kate Middleton’s alleged “Photoshop fails.”
The controversy began when Lively posted an edited photo promoting her Betty Buzz beverage line on March 15. The post, which has since been deleted, featured Lively sitting by a pool with a can of Betty Booze, complete with exaggerated features like an enlarged thumb and a floating lemon above her head. The post was a playful nod to the visual discrepancies in a photo of Middleton and her children released by the Royal Family on March 10.
In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram account, Lively expressed her remorse, stating, “I made a silly post around the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy, and oh man, that post has me mortified today. I’m sorry. Sending love and well wishes to all, always.” Lively’s apology comes in the wake of Princess Middleton’s revelation that she has been undergoing treatment for cancer.

Celebrities such as Jimmy Kimmel and Jamie Lee Curtis urged the public to respect Middleton’s personal space amidst the speculation.
In a recent video statement, Middleton revealed that her cancer diagnosis was uncovered following abdominal surgery, and she is currently undergoing early stages of preventative chemotherapy. Despite the challenging times, Middleton expressed gratitude for her medical team’s care and support during this period.
“We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.
At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”
