Chick-Fil-A has announced that the fast food restaurant will be making some changes to their menu. Officials at Chick-fil-A made a statement and said they are moving to use “No Antibiotics Important to Human Medicine (NAIHM),” according to WSB-TV. It will be switching from “No Antibiotics Ever (NAE).”
“NAE means no antibiotics of any kind were used in raising the animal. NAIHM restricts the use of those antibiotics that are important to human medicine and commonly used to treat people and allows use of animal antibiotics only if the animal and those around it were to become sick,” according to the companies website. The change will reportedly take place this spring.

The change is so that customers understand that the restaurant is selective about the chicken that they dish out to customers. “Quality has always been our approach to food,” Chick-fil-A officials wrote in a statement obtained by the news publication. “Because chicken is at the center of our menu, we serve only real, white breast meat with no added fillers, artificial preservatives, or steroids.”
It has also been reported by CBS News that Chick-Fil-A is looking to bring pizza to their menu and have been working on it at their test station in Maryland.

“As an innovation kitchen brand, we are constantly looking at what our customers want to better serve them,” Senior Culinary Lead Developer Stuart Tracy said in a statement. “We’ve noticed our customers getting creative with Chick-fil-A ingredients on pizzas at home, so, we’ve decided to jump on board! Your taste buds already know the flavors, so it’s love before first bite.”
