Jennifer Aniston may often be seen holding her phone during photo shoots, but there’s a time of day when the 55-year-old makes sure other things come first. In a Shape interview seeing the actress discuss her health and wellness, Jen opened up on her morning routine, listing the things she always does before she allows herself screen time. Aniston has been making plenty of wellness headlines of late via her Pvolve fitness promos. The Vital Proteins face is, of course, already an established fitness authority in the celebrity space.
Does This Before Phone Time
In her 2017 reveal, Aniston dished: “Every morning, I walk and feed the dogs. Then I meditate, make my coffee, and journal or write a gratitude list. Only after that do I pull out the phone and allow emails and texts and all the busy business stuff into my brain space.” Fans have since learned that the Friends favorite is big into lemon and water to kickstart her GI tract in the mornings.
The Unhealthy Cereal Thing
Reflecting back on growing up with a health-nut mother, Aniston also told the outlet that moving out of home spun her into rebellion mode. Basically, buying all the unhealthy cereal she could find. “Growing up, it was no fun to come to my house because it was all cardboard-tasting food,” she continued, adding:
“When I moved out, my big rebellion was to stock my fridge with food that had taste — I bought every cereal I’d ever wanted and other crap. Eventually, I started to feel like crap. And I looked like crap. I went to a nutritionist and realized that my mom had been doing me a favor. I committed to being mindful of what I put into my body.”
Jaw-Dropping Figure At 55
Jennifer is turning heads at 55, and Pvolve is reaping the benefits. In the above video, Aniston stretched her toned figure out in a tight leggings look while putting her body through its paces. She even kept her caption real, telling her Instagram fans: “If you’re having one of THOSE Mondays, I FEEL YOU. Just gotta do it!!” She then tagged Pvolve, a brand that’s likely paying her millions to be its face.
Her ‘Secret’ Cheap Workout
While the Kardashians may have hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of gym equipment in their homes, Jen has a trick up her sleeve that doesn’t cost the earth.
“When my trainer, Leyon, whom I love more than life, handed me a jump rope for the first time, I said, ‘You’re out of your mind.’ I would dread doing it and would skip instead of jump over the rope. He kept saying, ‘No, try to do it correctly.’ It was so irritating. But within six months, my jumping became fluid. Now I can just go and go and go,” she also told Shape. Also a fan of jump rope is fellow sitcom star Kaley Cuoco.
