Chelsea Lazkani has filed for divorce from her husband, Jeff Lazkani, after seven years of marriage and two children.
Following the recent drama between her former Selling Sunset castmate, Christine Quinn, 35, and her husband, Christian Dumontet, Chelsea, 31, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind her split from Jeff while also requesting joint custody of their two children, 5-year-old Maddox and 3-year-old Melia, and asking the court to award her spousal support.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on March 27, Chelsea listed her and Jeff’s date of separation as “TBD (To Be Determined)” and included no mention of a potential prenup between them.
Chelsea also stated that she wants to share joint physical and legal custody of her kids with Jeff and requested support from him. She then failed to have his right to go after her for support terminated and said the splitting of their assets should be decided in court.
Chelsea, who began appearing on Selling Sunset in April 2022 during its fifth season, married Jeff in 2017 after meeting him on Tinder.
As Selling Sunset fans may have heard, Christian was arrested last week after an alleged domestic dispute with Christine that resulted in their 2-year-old son reportedly sustaining injuries. He was then arrested for a second time after violating a protection order she was granted against him and has since requested a restraining order against her.
Selling Sunset is currently streaming on Netflix.
