Annemarie Wiley‘s husband, Marcellus Wiley, took aim at Crystal Kung-Minkoff and Garcelle Beauvais in a post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday following his wife’s sudden exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After Annemarie, 41, was accused of being fired from the Bravo reality series due to her political views, namely her reported support of Donald Trump, 77, and views on transgender athletes, Marcellus lashed out at Crystal, 41, accusing her of using the N-word. He also lashed out at Garcelle, 57, suggesting that the series’ first Black cast member isn’t as “pro-Black” as she makes herself out to be.
“Look at these bullsh*tters opening up [Pandora’s] Box!” Marcellus began on X on March 26.
“Crystal knows damn well my wife is not a Trump supporter. But, even if she was, who the hell are YOU to politically police her? Crystal also knows her virtue signaling a** shouldn’t be saying the word “N*gg@“ in videos (a word I don’t know even use), but she has! Worse, she doubles down on dumb by implying to my wife who she has to vote for since she’s black!” he continued, adding a hashtag for”Crystal Biden.”
“And [Garcelle] puts the CON in confused. Acts pro-black, but stays hating on black women in a desperate attempt to stay ‘Fancy’ on a show with No Blacks!” he added.
Marcellus went on to say that RHOBH was a “horrible fit” for Annemarie and suggested that the cast is filled with fakes.
“Let’s be real…my wife wasn’t good on Housewives. Personally, I’m glad she’s off the show, she was a horrible fit. We all saw it, and it was obvious why. It’s impossible to truly know how FAKE you have to be to actually be a REAL Housewife,” he stated.
Marcellus’ post came in response to a report in which it was alleged that Annemarie had butted heads with her castmates behind the scenes due to her political beliefs.
“A cast member having polarizing views and the ladies taking her to task would have been part of a juicy storyline on any Real Housewives franchise, but after politics railroaded season 13 of the [Real Housewives of New York City] cast, producers just edited all of those segments out of the Beverly Hills season,” a source told the Daily Mail on March 26.
According to the report, Annemarie and Garcelle actually went head-to-head at the reunion over their stances.
“Garcelle Beauvais expressed her disgust that Annemarie was a fan of political conspiracy theorist Candace Owens and said it told her all that she needed to know about Annemarie. But producers decided to edit the moment out of what viewers will see on the show,” the insider alleged.
Instead, Annemarie’s storyline focused on her drama with Crystal and Sutton Stracke, 52, including Crystal’s comments about the nurse anesthesiologist‘s profession and Annemarie’s claims about Sutton’s esophagus disorder.
“Annemarie and Crystal Kung-Minkoff were at odds all season over Annemarie’s misrepresenting she was a doctor, but Annemarie’s politics really disgusted Crystal even more,” the source explained. “The Chinese-American openly struggled to understand why a woman of color would be aligned with Trump, who has made racist comments about various nationalities and colors.”
In addition, Annemarie was said to be “hyper-defensive” about comments Marcellus made about transgender athletes.
“It was the biggest turnoff to the ladies,” the source shared.
As RHOBH fans may have seen, Marcellus posted a controversial message on X last year, saying, “I have no issue with transgenders, but I do have an issue with athletes who are transgender women trying to compete against biological women. Not against the Wiley Women! Why can’t the dudes who transition to women actually empower women by competing against men?”
The insider went on to say that Annemarie was open about her political views throughout filming, allegedly making it clear she was “Team MAGA and a staunch Donald Trump supporter.”
“The cast feels as though if producers aren’t going to let the audience see the real Annemarie, there’s no need to keep her on the show,” the insider explained. “They don’t want to work with someone with such off-putting personal and political views if it’s not going to be shown on camera.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is expected to go into production next month.
