Maino is bearing his soul and issuing an apology to not only the women in his life, but all Black women on his new single, “Forgive Me.”

Originally released on his album K.O.B. 4 in December, the song got the visual treatment this week.

On the song, Maino raps: “Dear Queens, I know lately I been everything inside this fucking world but a king/Forgive me for my savage and the habit that I bring/I’m sorry I be out my mind at times, I don’t think!/It’s my job to protect you, but what I do?/I disrespect you, now everybody knows I neglect you!”

In other news, Maino recently gave his take on the sexual assault allegations against Diddy — and he’s comparing them to FBI counterintelligence operations against Black political leaders of decades past.

In a new sitdown on The Baller Alert Show, the “Hi Hater” rapper drew some historical parallels, but not before making fun of one of the Bad Boy head honcho’s accusers, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.

“You got some dude named Lil Rod,” Maino began. “First of all, there should be a fucking pause on his name. The n-gga’s name [is] Lil Rod? That’s pause.”

Maino went on to compare the numerous lawsuits accusing Diddy of sexual assault — as well as an ongoing reported federal sex trafficking investigation against the mogul, — to the FBI’s COINTELPRO (COunterINTELligence PROgram), which targeted organizations it viewed as subversive, including the Black Panther Party.

The program officially ran from 1956 to 1971, though the Bureau has used similar techniques both before and after.

Maino said that he saw similar dynamics in the complaints and investigation against Diddy, drawing parallels to the Bureau’s “snitch jacketing” technique of falsely labeling a member of a targeted group as a police informant.

“[I]f you know anything about the ’60s and what they did with Black leadership and all that, these were some of the tactics,” Maino said. “To destroy you, basically they divide and conquer.

“COINTELPRO, what they would do was, they would put out misinformation. Have us looking at each other. They sending out letters and sending out things saying, this one talking about that one, this one got caught doing this. And it keeps us disorganized. Also, propaganda, which is fueled through the media, is a tool that’s always been used.”

The rapper also expressed skepticism about reports that Diddy is facing an investigation into sex trafficking charges.

“They gotta give me a clear definition of what sex trafficking is,” Maino said. “So you’re saying he was making people sell they body? I don’t understand. Is it [involving] underage [people]? It’s not clear to me.”
