Juvenile has given props to jazz superstar Jon Batiste for his unique take on the classic Hip Hop track, “Back That Azz Up.”

The Louisiana native shared a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday (April 18). There, he shouted out his fellow Louisiana native, Batiste, for taking a jazz approach to the intro to the classic song, before bringing out the ex-Hot Boy to enchant the Coachella crowd.

“One of the best ever renditions of BTAU ever do you agree?? @JonBatiste thanks for bringing me and the family out to @coachella #bucketlist,” he wrote in the caption.

In recent months, Juvenile has experienced a career renaissance of sorts, as he recently proved when he celebrated his official video for “400 Degreez” reaching one million views in less than three days.

Juvie took to his Instagram on March 29 to announce the achievement, and couldn’t have been more thrilled about it.

“1 million views!!! @manniefresh the video gone platinum already on @youtube thank you to the fans !!” he wrote in the caption. “Drop [four fire emojis] in the comments to let us know how hot you think it is and if you haven’t go on YouTube and type in Juvenile 400 Degreez.”

The Diesel Filmz-directed clip opens with a message that reads: “On November 3, 1998, Juvenile released his 3rd album album 400 Degreez. The album went on to be certified 4x platinum having sold over 4 million copies.

“This groundbreaking album remains Juvenile’s best-selling project of his solo career. This visual is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of this monumental achievement.”

From there, the New Orleans rap legend can be seen linking up with former Cash Money cohort Mannie Fresh — who produced the entirety of 400 Degreez — while two video vixens whip up a birthday cake for the album.

Throwback footage from the 400 Degreez era is peppered throughout the clip, along with more recent shots of Juvie and Mannie performing.

To celebrate the album’s quarter-century anniversary, Juvenile reissued 400 Degreez with a digital deluxe edition on March 29, with a double LP color vinyl to follow on April 26.

The reissue features two new tracks, “Party” and “We Be Blowing Money.”
