The Valley Star Janet Caperna on If She and Ariana Are Still Close

Janet Caperna spoke of her relationships with Ariana Madix and Scheana Shay during an “Ask Me Anything” session on her Instagram Story on Monday.

In addition to explaining why she chose to join the cast of The Valley and teasing the Vanderpump Rules spinoff’s upcoming reunion, Janet, 34, revealed if she and Ariana, 38, are still close, and admitted that when it came to Scheana, 38, she feels indebted.

“Are you [and] Ariana still close?” someone asked Janet on April 22.

“Always! Finally had dinner this week after a few months of her being a Broadway star and me making a baby … Green gang baby!” Janet replied, along with a photo from a group dinner with Ariana and others.

Also in her response, Janet said her husband, Jason Caperna, 40, and Ariana’s boyfriend, Daniel Wai, “planned this dinner on their Androids.”

Another Instagram user asked, “What is the status of your relationship with Scheana?”

“[Scheana Shay] is family,” Janet declared. “She has been such an incredible friend for the last [seven] years and I kind of owe her my child lol — but for real, she introduced me to my husband and like half my friends and I’ll be forever grateful!”

“And seeing our babies make friends now is everything to me,” she added, along with a photo of her son and Scheana’s three-year-old daughter, Summer Moon.

Janet then reacted to someone who asked why she chose to do The Valley.

“It’s a show based around real families and friendships,” she began.

“[Jax Taylor] had been talking about this FOR YEARS and we were sort of like sure, Jan,” Janet admitted. “When they finally said cameras were going up, I had just left my job and found out I was pregnant, so it felt like the timing was right to take a step back from job hunting and document this chapter.”

“Also, wtf else would I do all summer while my friends were filming?!” she added.

Also during the Q&A, Janet received a question that read, “Have you guys filmed the reunion?”

“Not yet,” she replied.
