Romantic C-drama Reblooming Blue released episode four on May 8, 2024. The drama features popular actors Victoria Song and Vic Zhou in the lead roles. The episode primarily focuses on Xiao Man (Victoria Song) experiencing the loss of a loved one.

Xiao Man learns from Shang Zong that Ke Yan (Vic Zhou) has left the company. After he hands her a labor contract, she confronts him for betraying Ke Yan. Shang Zong tries to keep her in the company and promises to double her salary. But she snaps and tells him he won’t be able to go far without the help of others.

Xiao Man wishes to leave the company and follow Ke Yan, but she is not able to express her feelings. She hopelessly watches as Ke Yan’s car drives by.

Meanwhile, Xiao Man rushes to see Dun Ge after receiving a panicked phone call from her. Dun Ge opens up about not being able to reach her boyfriend, who had borrowed a large sum of money from her. She has been trying to call him, but he has vanished without a trace.

Xiao Man takes her to the police station to get to the bottom of the matter. They are astonished to find that not only does the fugitive fake his entire identity, but he also seems to have a wife.

Reblooming Blue ep 4: Victoria Song suffers a bereavement

Xiao Man tries to calm Dun Ge down, saying that she will help her out with money. But she is not ready to listen to her and breaks down crying. As if they were not going through enough problems, the next morning, Xiao Man receives a heartbreaking phone call informing her of her friend’s passing. Her friend, Yuan Yuan, was struggling and committed suicide by jumping off of a building.

Xiao Man and Dun Ge visit the funeral home to bid their final goodbyes. After coming back home, Xiao Man finds a letter from her deceased friend that is addressed to her. In her letter, Yuan Yuan apologizes for choosing such a cowardly path. She promises to wait for Xiao Man on the other side. She wants Xiao Man to inherit all her clothes and advises her to live life to the fullest.

Xiao Man makes Dun Ge promise that she will always tell her about any obstacle she faces. Xiao Man lends her money to take care of her situation. Yuan Yuan’s passing has hurt her so deeply that she decides to take a break and fly back to her hometown. She wants to understand why Yuan Yuan felt so helpless that she chose such a baneful path.

The welcoming atmosphere of her hometown heals her. She visits her uncle, who has been admitted to the hospital due to heart complications. Her uncle seems to be very proud of her for working hard and living alone in Beijing. After leaving the hospital, she catches up with her friends and family members.

Xiao Man mentions to her friend that she worries about buying shares in her family business as she is having money problems. Furthermore, her aunt might stir a problem.

Reblooming Blue is available for streaming throughout the week on MGTV and Viki.
