Danielle Cabral revealed she’s no longer speaking to her father, shared what triggered their falling out, and addressed if he’s allowed to see her kids. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also opened up about her husband Nate’s past health battle.
On last season’s reunion, Danielle explained that she sent her brother a gift for the birth of his daughter. He apparently sent the gift back. She discussed their feud throughout the season, though her father seemed to be neutral.
In a preview of the upcoming episode, Danielle shared plans to throw a party to celebrate the life of her husband Nate after his past health battle.
“You know it’s been six years since your [brain] surgery,” said Danielle to Nate in a scene shared by bravotv.com. “That was the scariest time, I think, of our entire relationship.”
In a confessional, Danielle recalled that her husband “couldn’t even walk” during that time.
“He would stand there and just stare at me,” she went on. “It was terrifying. Come to find out he had a cyst in his brain.”
Danielle then addressed her current issues with her father.
“I stopped talking to my dad because he handled the gift situation with my brother not in the best way,” shared Danielle, who wanted her dad to call her brother an “idiot” for sending the gift back.
“But he’s never stood up for me,” she went on. “And it might be harsh on my part to just cut ties. I just need to start protecting myself.”
Despite their current issues, Danielle said her dad still sees her kids and talks to Nate.
“That relationship I won’t take away from them,” she explained.
