Brittany Cartwright said her estranged husband Jax Taylor “straight-up lied” on The Valley over his claim that Brittany told him the rumor that Michelle Lally was texting other men.
She also called him out for suggesting she had a “drinking problem” on “national freaking TV,” and brought up his six a.m. “ragers.”
“You made it almost look like I had a drinking problem, on a national freaking TV show,” said Brittany to her estranged husband Jax on their When Reality Hits podcast, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “It’s not okay.”
“I’m not saying you have a drinking problem,” responded Jax. “But there’s just been times where it’s, like, it’s been a lot.”
“How about the nights that you go out all night and don’t come home and have ragers?” Brittany clapped back. “And stay out till six a.m. and are horribly hungover the next day.”
Jax admitted this is “true,” and he apologized to Brittany for pushing that perspective.
Brittany eventually called out Jax’s dishonesty.
“You straight-up lied to everybody and said, ‘Brittany told me that Michelle has been texting guys’ or something,” said Brittany. “You literally said to Kristen [Doute] that my wife said [it].”
Jax then claimed that Kristen first told him about the rumor while at his house, and he suggested that Kristen gets drunk and forgets telling people things.
According to Jax, he felt producers were going to “make” him bring up the rumor.
“They wouldn’t have even known this conversation existed if one of you guys didn’t mention it,” said Brittany. Jax then claimed there were already rumors circulating that Kristen said it.
“I just don’t like being accused of throwing my friends under the bus,” she went on. “Because I’m so not that type of person.”
She also brought up that Kristen denies Jax’s version of events.
