Kyle Richards “liked” a post about a narcissist who put more energy into impressing strangers than caring for their family on Instagram earlier this week.
Before the 55-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a video of her own, during which she was heard in a full-blown panic over a rat who had climbed onto her car and began peeking in her window, Kyle “liked” the post from Coach Elizabeth Shaw, who discussed the personality disorder.
Days after it was reported that her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, 53, had moved out of their family home in Encino and into a new luxury condo in West Hollywood, she responded to Elizabeth’s message.
“Narcissism is a personality disorder characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, a constant need for admiration, and a lack of empathy for others. While these traits are commonly known, there are several strange behaviors associated with narcissism that may catch people off guard,” Elizabeth’s message read, via Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram.
The post also named examples of narcissism, including, “Impressing strangers over caring for their own family.”
Also on Instagram this week, Kyle posted a video of her experience with the rat.
“So this happened to me today. I stopped for coffee & was sitting in my car looking at emails. Now, before you judge my reaction ( yes, a disclaimer is coming) know that at first my passenger side window was DOWN [and] I was afraid to put my car in reverse because my rear view mirrors would move potentially creating a worse scenario. And I was too afraid to put my legs down where the gas pedal is in case there was a point of entry down there … I also couldn’t feel my legs,” she wrote in the caption of her May 13 post.
Meanwhile, in the video, Kyle was heard reacting to the rat’s presence, repeatedly saying, “Oh my God,” “No, no, no, no, no,” and “F*ck, f*ck, f*ck!”
“Why is he looking at me like that?” she also asked.

While it was initially unclear what ultimately happened with the rat, Kyle, who began filming RHOBH season 14 over the weekend, later explained the outcome to a curious fan.
“He would not leave!!! Maybe five minutes after I [stopped] the video he dropped down and I did not know where to! So I zoomed out and had to pull over and park for 20 minutes until I could feel my legs again,” she shared.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or early next year.
