Killer Queens II: Kings, Not WingsThey put the sass in murderer!

The deadliest queens in area are again at Darkish Horse in Killer Queens 2: Kings, Not Wings. This new miniseries is a continuation of the unique Killer Queens which was nominated for each an Eisner and GLAAD award, and follows two reformed assassins-for-hire, Max and Alex, as they use their slay-worthy abilities for good. A queer tackle 1950’s sci-fi nostalgia, the comedian options an all LGBTQ+ artistic staff together with author David M. Booher, inside artist Bradley Clayton, colorist Harry Saxon, letterer Lucas Gattoni, with cowl artwork by Chris Ables.

The Galaxy’s sassiest (Eisner and GLAAD-nominated!) assassins are again!

Throughout a day of questionable decisions at Area Satisfaction, Max and Alex stumble upon their outdated boss. The grumpy little simian tries to dragoon them into chasing down a runaway inheritor to the throne of Sarelia, an alien planet dominated by a brutal patriarchy. Little does he know that Alex and this inheritor have some, ahem, historical past. As Alex and Max race to avoid wasting the runaway inheritor from a galaxy-wide bounty hunt, they will dredge up Alex’s previous and confront her planet’s misogynist current. If which means burning the patriarchy to the bottom, effectively, get out the torches.

Be a part of rising star David M. Booher (Canto, All-New Firefly, Rain, Specs) and an all-LGBTQ+ artistic staff as they deal with problems with identification, household, and freedom on this hilarious and heartfelt sequel.

Killer Queens 2: Kings, Not Wings #1 (of 4) can be in comedian retailers August 9, 2023. It’s obtainable for pre-order now at your native comedian store for $3.99.

Reward for Killer Queens:

“Enjoyable to the acute.”—Comicwatch

“That is the way you do comics. That is about as enjoyable as they presumably get.”—Panel Patter

“That is The Jetsons meets Gunpowder Milkshake, and that’s as a lot enjoyable because it sounds.”—SyFy.com”With some daring in your face writing and characterization together with these nice interiors the universe has two new stars on its horizon and there’s no stopping them now.”—Studying with a Flight Ring”Sit again and benefit from the trip.”—Multiversity Comics
