The director said he was only 19 when he watched Michael Bay’s first live-action Transformers movie and he just directed its seventh in the series. Not only did he bring fans a new Transformers movie, but he had a chance to bring the Maximals to the big screen as live-action heroes for the first time ever. He also had a big opportunity to bring Unicron to the big screen for the first time in all his glory.
For the sequel, Caple wants to bring more of what he couldn’t in this first of the new trilogy. He wanted more Predacons, but he only had so much he could do in Rise of the Beasts. “I can’t say the next thing because I might actually do it for the next movie,” he said after mentioning more Predacons (via Geek Culture). However, Caple also said he wanted to bring back Megatron to the movies as well. However, he hinted that Megatron is still in the “Bay-verse,” but he has a lot of dreams to bring more from the world of G1.
There is also the post-credit scene from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts where Noah Dioaz (Anthony Ramox) is approached by an elite military force. For the first time, the Transformers in the live-screen world crossed over with G.I. Joe.
