Jess Hilarious is still trying to come to terms with Erica Mena’s Love & Hip-Hop firing.
As we previously reported, the model got the boot after she received massive backlash for calling co-star Spice a “blue monkey” during an argument. Now, despite also being referred to as a monkey by former LHH cast member Hazel E years ago, Jess still doesn’t think Mena’s comments is worth being axed from the show.
Jess previously spoke out in her defense saying, “Every time they get into it with Erica Mena they always bring that sh*t up that’s the only thing they can say about her is something about her son. That’s f***** up. It doesn’t matter what’s wrong with him, don’t bring him up. Like Spice said your son don’t like you! And I can’t call you a motherf*cking monkey.” She added, “I don’t think Erica was using it as a racial slur. Maybe Spice look like a monkey to her. Let a motherf*cker tell me Ash (her son) don’t like me whatever the f*ck you look like I’m going to call you that and the fact they filmed it back in the dizzle and you choose to fire her for the backlash. You not even protecting your cast like you do.”
Spice has since spoken out to address the controversy and claimed if she had lighter skin, folks like Erica Mena wouldn’t make negative remarks towards her.
Now, Jess Hilarious has caught wind of Spice’s latest video and she has something to say about it. While commenting under The Shade Room’s post, Jess said in a direct message to the Jamaican artist: “Spice, babe! Shorty said “YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED” 5 TIMES!!! And we stuck on monkey? …So she’s a racist for that But not for saying N*GGA every chance she gets? Make it make sense! That’s all I’m saying! BOTH OF YALL ASSES WERE WRONG! But to be fired behind Monkey and not wishing death on someone.”

More On Erica Mena’s Firing
Over the weekend, the Love & Hip-Hop franchise released a statement saying Mena will not be a part of the cast for the next season.
“The Love & Hip Hop franchise has never shied away from hard conversations in our community. Working hand-in-hand with our partners, viewers will see the impact of Erica Mena’s remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season. Effective immediately, she will not appear in the next season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” the statement read.
Although Mena has not publicly spoken out yet on being kicked to the curb, other cast members have condemned her actions. However, there are several of her co-stars like Lil Scrappy and Stevie J who believe that she didn’t deserve to be fired.
