Today, alt-pop singer and songwriter Leah Kate has shared her long-awaited debut album, Super Over.

Featuring standout singles “Unbreakup,” “Brainwash,” “Get In Loser,” and “Bored,” Super Over is filled with empowerment anthems, breakup songs, and dance numbers that capture her coming through the other side. Kate worked on the record when she was involved with a “very toxic person,” so the songs take aim at those experiences and portray her attempts to bounce back.

“These songs stemmed from experiences around losing my mind to love and loss and being hard on myself and everything in between,” she shares. “I learned to let go, and it changed me for the better. I moved on to the next chapter and truly had never felt better. The process of this album helped to heal me and make me ‘super over it.’ I know it will do the same for everyone who listens.”

The record is a milestone for Kate, as music has been part of her world from a young age. “Music has always been my dream,” Kate told AP last year. “Even when I was a 3-year-old, I was singing. I started taking voice lessons at 5 years old, and my family works in radio, so I was always around so much music. My brother plays instruments and produces, and my aunts are singer-songwriters, so there was music everywhere. By the time I was 5, I knew I wanted to be a pop star.”
